Joanna Bailey ( A.K.A. Scarecrow Jo) is primarily a self taught artist born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and currently resides in a small town in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. During her childhood years she developed a passion for old black and white horror movies and the classic movie monsters like Dracula, the Werewolf, the Mummy, and Frankenstein's Monster. In 2013 she discovered a wonderful medium, paper mache, to create her own vision of fantastical things. Today she is an award winning artist/sculptor specializing in Halloween related subject matter as well as science fiction and fantasy. Her partner in life and art, Yvette is a creative designer and painter at the studio. Joanna and Yvette primarily use recycled, natural and biodegradable materials and paper mache mediums to create their sculptures and props. They are true Halloween enthusiasts! All of their art is unique, one of a kind, original pieces.
